In a post a little while back I told someone that restore health did not cure insanity. I was wrong. I apologize. Don't know how I screwed that one up.

Sometimes I get that little green face and it goes away. But sometimes I get that little green face and no amout of RESTORE, Great heal, or cure poison makes it go away . . . then I start losing points and have to high-tail it back to town. Thank goodness for the Call of Home, Portal and Transport spells. Only the temple seems to be able to cure me. I think this is wasting disease. I would love a status window that tells me what I have and a manual that talks about the conditions. Does anyone know the difference? It only cost me 1200 to cure but I am working on acquiring the breather and helm.

ok I will let you off this time. BUT dont do it again or I will cast politician on you. This turns you into a liat, cheat and thief and there is no cure.

The manual also says Restor Health cures Sickness as well, but after 6 casts of the spell and a Restore Health potion my Priest/Paladin is still sick. How do I get cured without heading back to town?

Sickness is temporary (=nauseous). Disease is not. It must be cured by the cure spell (Vine 6).

Xeno: NO! PLEASE! Not 'Politician'! I was sort of ready for 'spindoctor' but this is too much!

Lily: I couldn't cure that either. Even when I let the character die, she stayed diseased, though dead. I thought that even the 'cure' spell didn't work, but I am no longer willing to be dogmatic about curing things.

Are you sure it didn't cure you? I'd say you were back to normal.
