Default Update on how my new job has been going

About 11 months ago, I was out of a job after working at a Credit Union for three years and then got a job with an alarm company. Since then, I have learned my job really well and got comfortable doing a lot of different things. I enjoy it so much, I am excelling beyond what I would have expected for me. I have received the highest customer satisfaction scores in my area and have become one of those guys the others call on to ask for help. Well, just yesterday the regional manager called and said that since I was already doing the work and acted like a lead technician, I should have the title and pay to go along with it so I got a promotion! Now I am responsible for seven other guys, spread out across half the state, east to central. It's really exciting and completely unexpected...but I can see why I got it.

Having any job these days is good, but one that you are enjoying and are doing well enough to get promotion is tops.

Don't forget Larry your man management skills were made by being a mod on this forum
