Skull Castle is done . . . I think . . . but I can't get out. What's the trick. The door leading out is locked, how do I unlock it?

Like everywhere else, you have to flip the lever. But then again, I'm not sure where you're at.
*light bulb going on* You're at the main entrance, aren't you? That stumped me, too. Turn around and go back up the flight of stairs behind you. The lever is not in the same room as the door; it's one flight up. If that's not it, post again with more info about where you are and what door you're looking at.

The lever to exit Skull Castle should be on the side wall - same place it was when you were coming into Skull castle for the first time.

Or another possibility, if you've just finished the 2nd Lich encounter and picked up the Staff of Death and are stuck on the inside of the one-way grated door:
Go back to the bridge. Jump off and choose the left (southeast) waterway and then head into the left (south) waterway. Let the current take you to Adrianna’s Room. Exit through the far door and swim underwater to the lever. Pull it and swim up into the cistern and out. Take the east stairs, east stairs again, and then go west to the Entry Room

Of course, if you are caught behind the crate doors, the easiest way to get out is to jump to the balcony from the stair case! [img]smile.gif[/img]
