Okay, Larry. As you can see, the ley lines have been rifted to stop the spread of the shadow taint. I had Arcades mention specifically the oak tree and mistletoe of where he landed. I can run with that story line, till you hear from Cyril, if that works for you?

Morg...Cerek has opted to leave the game under the current conditions...and will not be returning. Your char is free to go where he chooses. If you want, you can choose to wander up to the surface or down to find the others as you desire. What you choose means more than you would imagine. Choose well.

Hey everyone. Sorry for my unannounced absence. Things have been... well, to say awful would be an understatement. And honestly, things still aren't great.
Anyway, I just stopped in to let ya'll know what's up. As much as I'd like to be part of the game again (as I see Syrathic hasn't been crushed into bits yet), I really don't have the energy or drive to post more than once a week, if that. That's not exactly fair to everyone in the game, so I'll not rejoin. But I will continue to read the rest of the story, and I look forward to the ending. |

OOC>>>Thank you for the update, man! I am sorry to hear that you will not be able to play with us, because we were actually giving you the time you needed to get back. Now that you will not be able to...that means that Terrakis gets to crush your statue. Would you like for us to at least dramatize your dismissal a bit, in honor of your contribution to the game? I don't think that would be asking much.
The end of the game is very near, but will be different than anything you'd expect. |

Sure, I'd appreciate that, Larry. If I can help out in any way, let me know.

I will be moving the story along now. I will work it slowly to give Cyril a chance to take back over, but until he does I will be assuming all responsibility for his characters.
As I said...I will not make moves that might jeopardize any vision Cyril had for this part. I am sure he can work with everything I lay down in words here...to make it functional for him. I have to work step by step, however, because college is getting heavier. |

Those in the lair of Euryale: I have started Brendon out the door. Will you follow my lead, or shall Saithele take it? You decide by posting your reaction to Brendon taking control.
Morgeraut: You are free to post at will until you get down to find the others, as you suggested you would do. Hurry, because they are now moving away from you. Tao and Arcades: I am giving Cyril a bit longer for you two. If he is unable to counter your posts this week, then I will be creating your opposition. Until then, you are doing fine together. Remember that you are not too safe, and that there are forces at work against you. Nature should be telling you this, already. |
