I was at the 10pm show today (Wednesday), and I was very much pleased with the movie. Very exciting, nice plot twists, and it just made me want to see the last one so much more!

One odd thing about the trailer:
Neo fights some Agents at the beginning of the Trailer. Doesn't he have the ability to explode them, like he did Agent Smith? Hmm...

Awesome is right! Great movie and the winter ending, I hope ending, should be excellent. (Wow!)

Smith isn't an Agent any more, he is...something else. He also wants something very special, but modesty forbids me explaining what that thing is.....
I thoroughly enjoyed the depths of philosophy touched upon in this movie, especially the nature of choice, the nature of freedom, and the nature of interdependence. It also touches on the nature of control or being a tool--that which is controlled (or a tool) is not free but if you free something (hoping it will do what you want) then you have no control over it, which brings us back to choice. Read Stephen R. Donaldson's Gap Series for more about this duality. I admit one failing of mine--this movie answered a couple of questions I hadn't even considered to ask before (but I can't explain any more without spoiling). Poor Neo...he must have missed the part where Uncle Ben Parker doles out a nugget of wisdom. Excellent action sequences, excellent philosophical discussion, lots of symbolism, and a fairly good plot. In short, I am honestly shocked--this movie does indeed manage to outshine its predecessor.

I do wish my brain worked like yours. The only thing I could comprehend in that whole movie was the fight scenarios, but I'm sure they have a double meaning as well
