I'm not sure why one would want 3 paladins in a party. Seems overkill. And 2 of your tanks won't be able to use missle weapons. I'd get rid of the second cavalier, replace with an archer maybe. The 3rd paladin could be an undead hunter, or inquisitor.

And the F/T/M and F/M/C are interesting, but IMO triple-classing characters is only useful in a solo adventure. They will be leveling up SO slowly it will be hugely painful. I'd replace the first with maybe a multi-classed T/M, and the second with a dual-classed F/C , dualled at level 9 or 12.

Your 2nd party looks very short on tanks. 2 paladins and 1 fighter/druid aren't going to be enough melee power. It looks like you are going for a good/neutral aligned party, so the only thing I can think of is to ditch Jaheira and pick up either Minsc, Valygar, or Anomen.

I actually use a Fighter/Thief/Mage and I can say from experience I can kick the crud out of anything (well nearly....). HOwever I did suffer for the fact that my characters were restricted by the XP cap which held all my classes at relativly low levels. However I removed the cap and now I can advance as far as any single class can . So i suggest if your going to use multi class characters use the XP cap remover patch and then prepare to have a really kick arse character
