Introducing the world's (when complete) most detailed model of "Star Trek"'s Shuttlecraft Galileo.
Ventral view (Practically) A 3/4 view When complete this model will have every conduit, every wire, every "nut and bolt". An early firstdraft of the nacelle A framing test And for a look at the most current interior work. Putting off making real chairs Pilot's console -- a material/color test Plenty of modeling and texturing left to do but it's been an adventure so far. It's my first truly serious 3D project so I thought I'd share it here and see what sort of feedback I could get. Good or bad, it all helps. "Be seeing you"... As a fellow trekkie I must commend you on your effort and congratulate you on your proficiency with the 3D tools, these are good!

Wow, those are excellent ! The attention to detail is great. What program do you use? And if you haven't already, you'll probably want to check out Ziroc's 3D modelling. But I assume that's why you're here, right?
Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope it all turns out well . |

Remember early Star Trek shuttles(The Original Series and in the Kirk movies)? That's the one.

Thanks -- everyone -- for the compliments, I'm really pleased as to how it's turning out. I haven't made much progress on it as I had a computer failure shortly after my first post and lost alot of my momentum on it. My hosting company flaking out on me didn't help things either.
Jaradu, I'm using a program called Blender. I've been using it for about a year now and it's really come along way it that time. [ 05-07-2004, 10:16 PM: Message edited by: Four Mad Men ] |
