If Aerie (BG2) was to fight Aeris (FF7) who would win?

There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that Aeris would win. She's got the holy power of an entire planet behind her for goodness sake. She's brave, resourceful, powerful and intelligent. Aerie has a long way to go before she can hope to take on my favourite flower girl. Oh yes.

Aeris, of course! she can make herself frickin invincible for the entire battle, the closest Aerie can come to that is Stoneskins! although by this logic, Sephiroth could easily whip Aerie... and in my BG2 game where i modeled a character after Sephiroth, i have no doubt he would!

It takes guts to beat Sephiroth's ass, and Aerie doesn't have it in her yet, Aerie cannot match up against Sephiroth, and umm.... Aeris could actually kick Spehiroth's butt- the main reason why he took her out of the picture early in the game. So if these two women were to fight, winged elf, can't beat the slum flower gurl!

Bahamut has just angered me... for nobody can defeat Sephiroth, only die standing up to him! Aeris was a cheap-o anyways, had to be killed off for game balance and plot. frickin A!(ncient)

Well technically Aeris is really the real Ancient and stronger if she had the Great Gospel and the white materia fullyt summoned... hehehe. You said it yourself that she could be invincible...

But don't worry... Sephiroth is highle regarded as one of the best Villains the video game industry has ever seen!
