Right now I'm in Chapter 2 and I'm running around doing as many of the side quests as I can before going on to Chapter 3. In the beginning there was...

Khaal (pure fighter, complete tank with fabu dex, strength, and con, uses two weapons)
Minsc
Boo (I find it amusing that everyone keeps listing Boo so I will, too)
Jaheira
Yoshimo
Anomen (sp)

I got sick of Annie and decided I needed some mage spell firepower, so I went with...

Khaal
Minsc
Boo
Jaheira
Yoshimo
Aerie

I liked Yoshimo but I started in on the sewer quests and needed Kheldorn, so now I have...

Khaal
Minsc

Jaheira
Aerie
Kheldorn

Khaal has a longsword +3 and a battle axe +3 plus some boots of speed, so he's just a killing machine.

I've suped up everyone's armor and weapons and I've found that, for the moment, I merely need to use my two spellcasters as missile fire support and fear/hold foils...

I noticed you don't have a thief in your party... Tough to open those locks w/o one, especially since there is a bash bug in the game.

You can use the Mage spell, Knock. Even better, buy dozens of scrolls of it. Dirt cheap, they are.

Give imoen the ring of stealing or buy knock,yep they open every lock
that hasn't got a ward or requires a key offcourse.Your mage is actually a thief

I actually had Nalia for a bit, but she got kiddnapped, and I found Viciona on my way to rescue her... well forget nalia. I MIGHT still resucue her, but I'm keeping the Drow

You got jipped, mate. Aerie doesn't sleep with you until the end of her romance dialogue, and if you choose to sleep with her, she tells you where to go afterwards. Jaheira's romance is funnier. She gets annoyed if you DON'T sleep with her.

~~~Firing magic goodies from magic bows and casting the now indispensible "Web/Fireball/Cloudkill" combo. If the going get tough, lob fifteen magic missiles on the jerk you're fighting while he's webbed.

Why is allways the Question Imoen or Nahlia. Why not drop both of them and pick up Jan insted! He is much cooler, and he doesen't wine if you do a little evil.
