dialog/treasure boxes

I am a "fallen" paladin. After killing bohdi (for good)and I leave with or without Aerie(my rmonace NPC) subsequent dialog boxes and treasure collecting boxes slam shut before I can get treasure or more importantly, talk with NPC's.
I used shadowkeeper to change to a fighter, with the same result.
Any suggestions??

Note: When I try to talk with someone outside my party, at an inn or any character not in my party. I have not tried talking to someone in my party. I don't know how to do that. I first noticed this after restoring Aerie and going to Suldanessellar city. I talked with the elves at the entrance and then went into the first building, killed the 3 clay golems and tried to talk to the elf to find out where the queen is. The dialog box slams shut before I can talk with him, or at least before I can finish the conversation. Have gone back and isolated it to Bohdi. After I kill and stake her, leaving with or without Aerie results in dialog boxes slamming shut before i asm through with the conversation.

What do you mean? You cannot open or access treasure boxes? You cannot talk with NPCs in your party or other NPC (e.g. barkeepers)??
