Don't feel to badly! Accidents happen and the main thing is no one was injured!!

I hope the car was insured. My fiancée wrecked my van last week. She wasn't paying attention and the traffic stopped abruptly. She ran into the trailer hitch of an SUV. If the trailer hitch wasn't there she would not have even touched the other vehicle. As it was the trailer hitch did $3000 worth of damage to my van as it was a nice little hole through the bumper, and punctured the rad. At first I was going to be mad at her but what was the point it was a fluke accident. Even though she should have been paying more attention it was a number of bad luck things that did the damage, a second one being a vehicle with a trailer hitch in front.

Thanks for the support everyone, no one was really mad at me thankfully, I just gotta pay my sister for the damages, she said "I was looking for an excuse to get a new car anyway" so that made me feel better that she wasn't mad at me. So everything should be back to normal in about 2 months hopefully, no word on how much damage i caused yet but i know its gonna be alot. But thanks again everyone.

and to answer the question of what kind of car i was driving i was driving a 95 saturn slc
