Well, if you mean in-game things there's the machine of Lum the Mad.

there's also the Deck of Many Things, but that will only give +1 Int to mages or sorcerers.

jim, the golden ioun stone is only temporary.
the only reliable permanent method is the machine of lum the mad. ive got the code here somewhere... no i dont. damn, must stop chucking out bits of paper. blue green long if i was asked to hazard a guess. anyway, using any code more than once will result in random effects. also their are the abyssal challenges. you could also just keep drinking potions of genius every 6 hours, but it will cost loads. Int mainly effect lore and spell-learning chance so you just need to bost it during identification and scribing sessions. thats where the ioun stone and potion realy come in handy.

Drinking potions of mind focusing is a good idea at the start of each quest. It gives a +3 bonus to both dex and int which will probably result in improving your mages AC. It lasts for a full 12 hours which is handy.
The golden loun stone's bonus is in effect whilst it's worn though which is semi-permament, more so than potions. |
