Flamestrykes mod

when playing Flamestrykes mod when do you run into the first new monster group. I am getting all the new items but have not run into any newbies?

Sorry so late, you probably already know the answer if you continued playing. I first saw dangerous housewives and others in the houses in Arnika. I also saw some Mantis things at the the Umpani camp. You can meet new spellcasters in between, especially on the Arnika-Trynton road. Her friendly Faeries are a nice touch in Trynton. I like the Swamp Witches. She could have had the full blown Mantis warriors, too, with their valuable drops. I think all of these monsters were lurking, at least graphically, in the W8 code. Flame could say more of how she did it!

They should be right in the monestary: Guards and Friers for example.

Thanx. I often refer to Flame's Wiz8 page, but never saw the mods there . . I'll look again. I downloaded her V1.1 mod from Wolfie's site last year but he doesn't have her V4.0 mod.

I have checked and rechecked Flame's Wiz8 Web Page (also her Home Page) but cannot find any info about ANY of her mods much less V4.0. I would really like to upgrade my V1.1 and if anyone can give me some help on where to download this newer version, I would appreciate it.

Whups! . . sorry for the double post, I finally figured it out. Rhat V4.0d is her OLD Mod and the one I'm playing is V1.1 of her NEW MOd, which is the one I like anyway. Sorry for the inconvenience . . DUHHH!

Sorry I was out of commission for awhile.

The monsters were simply re-skinned models. I altered the existing graphic for the monster type and included the new graphic files in the mod.

I have a monster skinning tutorial posted on the IGN boards, if any one is seriously considering doing a mod and would like that info posted here as well I will post it. The link to it there is:

The only monster I added that was lurking so to speak was the Quetzalcoatl. It is exactly as Sir-Tech created it. The rest were my goofball ideas.
