I worked for another company at the time, as the sole person in an office here in lovely West Michigan.

I left the office that morning and came home to watch on TV, and be with those I love more than anything.

RIP. And RIH for those behind it, and other events since.

Ever since the september 11, I felt sorry for all those people who died, but I have felt scared, scared because of the violence.
I'm afraid that our minds will be consumed by hatred and anger and that we will destroy ourselves with war.

All I have heard on the since the september 11 attacks and up to this day is 'so and so agree to wage war on some country'... 'some country was devastated today as it's embassy was bombed.' *note that I am not inculding names in this because it has happened all over the world*

It seems as though everything is based on war.
It makes me sad to see that our race can stoop that low

I just watched a documentry on Friday about the Firechief, who rushed in and saved people, and was also the first to be pronounced dead. His name escapes me now (sad really) but it was quite touching and brought a shiver to your spine.
