Default Opening Premium Modules in Toolset

I wanted to check some of the triggers in Kingmaker, but I'm not sure how to open it. I can't load it from within the toolset itself, and double-clicking the file itself tells me that I need to update my game to view it - which is silly, because it's already fully updated. Perhaps one of you knows how I could do this?

IIRC you cannot. They're piracy protected so us modders cannot access them since they are, in essence, the property of Bioware and Atari. They are .exe files rather than .mod files.

Ah. So much for that, I suppose...though in that case, I wonder why they didn't protect the campaign modules similarly?

Thanks anyway, SpiritWarrior.

Well, since the OC comes with the game, and since the game is activated by a CD-key I guess they feel it is sufficiently protected. If you haven't got the game you can't play it. But the premium modules cost cash, and if they were unprotected then I could for example, purchase it then send it to you via email and all you'd need is a copy of NWN's. In essence, one person could buy it and the rest would simply freeload. So, in a nutshell, that's why it's not acccesible. Someone could just upload it to NWvault, call it something else, and then 2000 people could have it in one day.
