True, but there is no sure way of know if it is pre-ordianed. The only sensible thing to do is to try to stop it any way we can and pray that we succeed. If we tried our best and still fails, then it is pre-ordained... just my 2 cents anyway.
Ahhh, the joys of philosophy. If you believe that the world is coming to end, then you believe the world is pre-ordained, and you must believe that you have no control over it. To attempt to stop it would be against your beliefs, against the Will of God, so to speak. In the original question, that would condemn you to be dumped in a lake of fire.

Personally, I'm not religous. That's my choice. I believe that everyone is entitled to there own beliefs as long as they are not forced upon me. Because I don't believe that the world is pre-ordained then yes, I would fight damn hard.

Question retracted. Apologies to all are offered...I didn't realize this was banned. I meant no offense by the question & do not wish to risk my membership here; I retract the question.

please do NOT delete this thread. I hate it when people ask for threads to be deleted without even consulting other people in the conversation.

I think it's philosophical more than religous. I'm quite enjoying this thread actually, so I'd rather not see it deleted either. Of course if the omnipitent beings of IW see differently...

Also, quietman, IIRC if you really want this thread deleted, all you have to do is delete your first post. I could be wrong I haven't had to do anything of the sort before.

I agree with Vaskez. This is an interesting topic, so long as we do not preach religions and try to differentiate between each religion's view over the subject of "end of the world".

If anyone having a hard time accepting other people's believe and ideology, kindly refrain yourself from participating this thread.

I am NOT a moderator. Sorry for acting like one.
I am probly guilty of being one of the ones that attributed to the ban in the first place, thats why I said something.
All I said was be carefull where it goes. It can quickly derail into a debate and get heated. I dont see a reason to delete it, maybe close it if needed down the road, but not deleted.

Why? Have I known to disagree with everyone else all the time?
