You didnt ruffle my feathers, I just think hockey is a much more exciting sport then basket ball is.
I've wondered this forever, but... is it only me, or is it just impossible to see an ice hockey puck? I don't see any point in watching NHL games because I never see the damn thing. All I see is these barbaric guys, dressed up like eskimos, waving big sticks and beating the crap out of each other.
LOL!

Hockey is indeed the most misunderstood sport in the world.

To answer the topic question, I rooting for the San Antonio Spurs. I once lived there and I really wished the LA Lakers do not win again eventhough I know its highly possible for them to repeat. Bummer

I still stand by my earlier opinion (if not voiced here) that the only two teams that have a realistic shot at winning the title this year are the Lakers and the Kings. The probable conference semifinal matchup Spurs against Lakers looks intriguing on paper, but I wouldn't really be shocked, either, if it turned out to be the most anticlimatic of the whole playoffs. Provided, that the Lakers for once are able to gain some real momentum from yesterday's victory. (yes, yes, I know, regular season: Spurs 4 Lakers nil) In any case, I think that of those two teams only the Lakers have a real shot at getting past the Kings in the conference finals.

... but then again: I truly realized only yesterday that, after losing Rick Fox to injury, the Lakers would've to win three tough series, okay discounting the finals, make that 2 tough series with a 7-men rotation - with the two players off the bench being Brian Shaw - at this stage of his career a nice player as your 5th, 4th, or possibly even 3rd option off the bench, but most definitely not as your first - and Mark Madsen - a fantastic player as your second option off the bench ... in the NBDL. Ouch! Even though I believe depth to be a rather overrated quality for playoff success, such a complete lack of it surely makes the margin of error for the starters a dangerously slim one.

History can be written in the NBA playoffs, if Portland manages to win game 7. Never before a team came bame back from a 0-3 deficit.

The Pistons are also on a roll, after being down 1-3, they also tied the series 3-3. Plenty of exitement in round 1.

Definitely lots of excitement this first round. Portland and Detroit forcing game 7s is totally awesome. Poor Dallas, falling apart like that. Now for T-Mac to eat his words!

What exactly did he say about the Pistons ? I must have missed that.

Before Game 5, T-Mac said that he was glad to finally make it to the second round of the playoffs, obviously implying that he thought they had the series wrapped up. He really should know better than to give motivation to the opposing team.
