I agree with several previous posts regarding education, and the joys of RPGs over television.
Icefire - I, too, experience reactions of disbelief from my sons friends, or even from most of MY friends. It just goes to show that so many people lack any real imagination.

Mandrake, you make more sense than I do when I am sober so don't apologise. My conversation after a bottle of scotch is limited to monosylabic grunts and burps.

Melusine, I agree Scotland is a brilliant place to live. Beautiful scenery, excellent scotch(if your ever this way Mandrake gives us an E-mail and I'll crack open some special cask strength I've been saving) and friendly people. I've been here two years and I would never go back to England. I went to Holland many years ago for a long weekend and really enjoyed myself. Lots of beautiful blondes, good beer and grass is legal! Too many bicycles though The only thing I didn't like was the food as you can only eat so much ham and cheese . Is the floating restaurant still in Amerstadam? I had a great meal there, despite my last comment, but I thought I had had too much to drink until I realized that the centre section was meant to rotate. However, my fave place is Barcelona. A fantastic city with brilliant night-life, shopping, art & culture, sun, sea and sand. Nearby you have the Pyrenees and Monserrat ranges if you like greenery and mountains, which you seem to. It also has a great university, so you might go there for a brief holiday before making your final choice. If you want any info about Scotland E-mail me and I will get it fot you.
