All I have in System 32 is a folder named "Drivers." I guess I'm clean.

The sticky-with-191-replies one. I haven't had it for a while tho (at first it seemed like it stopped because I switched to Opera, but I've had no problems with the (IE-using) puters at school this week either, so I'm not sure).

Hmmm.... I'm not so sure I place much faith in these two geeks. A Google search for "capi3.exe" returns nothing -- absolutely nothing. A search for "capi3" returns nothing related to this (at least not in a language I read, even poorly).

I'd want some more specific proof, as LennonCook mentioned, about what and where this supposedly comes from. At this point, it smells a lot like the jdbgmgr.exe virus that's made the rounds a couple of times.

If it was a virus causing this, someone would have found it by now. I know that people generaly dont scan anywhere near what they should but its been months now.

Additionaly, I would be very suspicious of anyone that can diagnose from a general symptom like having problems with a specific site every now and then, and jump straight to the virus responsible. Especialy when google cannot find anything on the virus concerned. Makes me wonder where capi3.exe on your system came from.
