Hey I will be taking a trip to Florence real soon and I was wondering if there was anything I should know. like If I held up a finger(not my middle)would people get offended? and what should I look for there?? things like that. so if any one lives there or has been there could you let me know what to look forword to?

Drake, I have only been to Italy once, but if you get a chance to travel around a bit in Tuscany, do it! It's a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately I don't know any good sightseeing spots in Florence, but again, if you can travel around a bit, a town I really LOVE is Lucca.

OH, I believe it is considered VERY offensive if you make a sort of victory sign with your fingers (i.e. stick out your index and middle finger) and point it at someone's eyes. Apparently it means "I poke your eyes out"

Go to china town it's a chinees restaurant
If you see the female owner
That's my Aunt
The older lady who help is my grandma

Also their is a chinese restaurant called Peking
That belongs to another aunt of mine

BTW there is a HUGE church in the middle of Florence can't miss it
Also There is a replica of David by michealangelo outside somewhere (can't remember where my cousin once showed me)
There is a lot to see in Florance but i would recommend getting a Italy Guide

thanks Melusine I could have gotten into real trouble I have been doing that a lot latey but with knowing what I know now I think I'll stop. also thanks for the ideas on were to go but I am going with a group of people so I will only have about 5-6 hours of time for my self. that means I have to stay in florence.

Rikard thanks for the church idea

and I will look for those restaurants. I gonna see youre aunts and gradma and hey I like chinees food.
