My two favorites are Greater Whirlwind (cuz I'm a melee fiend)
And Hardiness. Seriously, reducing all damage by 40%. Thats great. My stalker could tank like no one else when i'd cast 2 armors of faith and a Hardiness. Then just use two Hardinesses and you're almost immune to damage. 3 Hardinesses and damage will start to heal you. Now THATS a riot.

How about you?

Critical Strike, and Greater whirlwind. Do you like being able to enemies for critical hit? (There are quite a few without helmets!) Do you like attacking ten times per round?) Yes I thought so! Oh and don't forget comet. This 70+ damage spell knocks the enemy unconscious and you're party is immune to it!

Hey try this. Use a Fighter/Mage, cast Alacrity, then use Critical Strike then Greater Whirlwind. Bye, bye to anything not nailed down.

I don't know, I kind of like Smite, just for the effect. It's actually worse when you smite them and they fly away because you need to chase after them but damn, it's good to see them bounce off walls and such.

greater whirlwind, critical strike, hardiness and smite are good.

for the magic-using abilities i like all summonings of planetars and divas, dragon's breath and storm of vengeance, globe of blades and implosion and comet and oh hell all of them are great.
