Well FF7 was the first FF game I ever played, and at the time, I did not know about the FF series, and apart from maybe 8 and 10, it is by far the best in the series.

FF7 is brilliant, but I REALLY liked FF6 (released as FF3 outside Japan) on the SNES too. I'm a sucker for SNES rpgs though. Earthbound is still my favourite game of all time.
