Our war of Independence was just that, our Freedom from the Crown!

What are your thought's on 1990, a small Middle Eastern country invaded, raped, pillaged and plundered another small ME country? The US war machine went into action.
Justified or Not?
How could it of have been prevented?

Yeah, so why have military recruiters visiting schools in the first place?
The same reason products are advertised on TV, more or less.
They advertise products in schools these days...Whoa!!!!

Speaking of which....
I saw an hour-long infomercial for the armed forces the other night. It didnt mention killing people once, or possibly getting maimed, scarred emotionally for life, or even possibly killed. Actually it seemed like the entire commercial avoided the topic of war altogether.

Gotta love only getting half the story. If that infomericial were an advertisement for a product, I would deem it misleading and a fraud.

Who said anything about advertising products in schools?
You make it sound like I am advocating the military misleading people. Anyone that has done any research at all knows military recruiters constantly spew half truths, its no surprise. You also make it sound like infomercial's tell the complete truth and nothing but the truth. Even regular advertisments rarley tell the truth about things, much less an infomercial.

My point was everyone wants to get what ever it is they are selling out to the people, and I dont blame it.

Sweet, I agree. Why didn't you say that in the first place?

Justified, but we didn't finish the job so end up with more wars.

It could have been prevented by not supporting him 20 years ago.

When we go to war we have failed. So every time we go to war we are failures to not find alternative routes with patience and diplomacy.
