Lathisia: Elfen Ranger of the Wild

Chapter One: the quest for the thief.
Lathisia came in from the cold after a like hike from her home land in the Forest lands- far to the east of the Gael Serran. As she entered the towns Forge she was welcomed by the smith and after much was traded bought and sold she agreed to join the warriors clan the Smithy was glad and imedetly offered her training in the arts of the sword, she accepted the offer and was soon learning the ancient art of sword-play after more then 5 days of intesive training, her lessons were over and the smithy sent her on a quest to kill a thief and get back his money box. Later she met up with the village leader; Gareth. Gareth told her to Travel to the old Crypt and seek a sword, the Mavin was the name of the sword. Although Lathisia was from a from the Forest Lands far away she had heard storys of this blade, but thought they were the work of storries and fables. After Gareth confirmed these legends true Lathisia started her journy away from the city, choosing to exit the town from the Nymph lake exit, so she could cover more ground, after a few minutes she came to a clearing were there was a treasure cheat, and a horse. From out of the shadows she heard a voice, it said "surrender your gold, your out numbered". She turned around to see many thieves, she though to her self "these must be the thieves the smithy was talking about". She prepared a powerfull spell to defeat these thieves, she turned around and cast the spell Locust Swarm. When the locust were gone only the leader remained, still stunned from the attack. Lathisia drew her sword and striked him with all her might, he fell to the ground. When they were all dead she took the treasure and the horse, she also found a small blackish coloured box which had the Clans Symbol, exclaimed outloud" this must be the money box i was sent to find".

it's a great story, and i can't wait until the next episode ( hey, wouldn't it be funny if someone made a movie out of one of these...)

BTW. Where did the name Lathisia come from? A google search revealed nothing.
