Default Does anyone else look at their posting history?

...And cringe at what you wrote/posted?

This probably doesn't apply to a lot of you folks, but I was still uh, "growing up" for most of my tenure at IW. I joined when I think I was in 6th or 7th grade. Boy am I embarassed about how I behaved! So this is an apology for the many years of annoying/stupid posts.

I only went back to when I was in high school, ~2006 or so. I'm afraid to go back to 2003.

Yeah, every couple of years I delve a bit into my posting history. It's always a surprise -- sometimes pleasant, sometimes not. It is funny to see how a viewpoint can develop over time. For me, at least it affirms that we are changing creatures who can be influenced to different views over time, and that we aren't just static creatures saying the same s**t over and over.

Ironworks Forum Re: Does anyone else look at their posting history?

I have thought about doing so before but have never done it. The past is the past, so why dwell on where I have been before? If someone else wants to look into my past then that is their business.

Also, never apologize for how you acted at that age; only acknowledge it and then move on. We will not discuss some of the things I said and/or did back in the 7th grade....

Self-reflection...It's a good thing. As with other good things, always in moderation.

Nay not so much... what's the puzzle under temple district??? you are on a staircase which is the most important step? The one behind you is the past nothing you can do about that, the one before you is the future it hasn't happened yet nothing you can do about that, the one you are on is the most important step. You can decide which way you want to go.

Or as the old saying goes the man who sets his hand to the plow and looks back isn't fit for the kingdom.
