So I got a job so I can start paying bills off while continuing to look for that magnificent job that's still out there. I am now an employee of Circuit City.
I'll be working in the technology department, bouncing back and forth from computers to cameras. It does not pay very well...just $9.25/hr to begin with and moved up after each six-month evaluation. There is no incentive nor commission in any of the sales, to my surprise. My training will begin Monday, and I'll be working from opening to closing on most days for the next week and a half, then by May 3rd, I'll be official.

There's an even brighter side, think of all the discounts you can get on cool devices...

$9.25/h?
Just for the sake of comparison, what's the price of one loaf of bread, one liter of milk, meat, that sort of things?

I have to say american wages are very low.
Here in Alberta you can pour coffee for 12 an hour. But that is if you work nights. Anyways Larry enjoy the new job.
