Been working away for a week and have largely missed most of the news. Great that he's no longer among the living, but i echo above statements that the victory doesn't necessarily amount to more than settling an old debt. I think the best we could hope for is some infighting in the Al Queda ranks and, hopefully, a few more solid punches while they're on the back foot. Worst case scenario is for politicians to "brag" about it and try to sell the idea that "we've won". Best to chalk it up as a victorius battle and move on to the next, preferrably some pretty serious overt pressure on Pakistani politicians.

That's the beauty of conspiracy theories. Anyone who offers evidence to refute the theory is automatically part of the conspiracy. Reasonable people who don't buy into the theory have obviously been duped.
