Looking for a game to play

I’m playing through wiz 8 for the umpteenth time, but will want something to play next. I’ve really enjoyed creating my party and watching them grow. Can you suggest another good RPG that you can create a party with and which is fun to play?

For the classic style, you could look at Wizards & Warriors, Baldur's Gate, Might and Magic... there are a couple of new mods for MM7 that make that game new again.

I've also got Arx Fatalis on my shelf... not *quite* the same, but interesting nonetheless. It's solo, though... no party involved.

If you wanted Solo, I'd just recommend Oblivion over AF. Try and get a copy of Planescape, I've never played it myself but I hear it's brilliant.

If you have a DS then Etrian Odyssey could be worth a try.

As for PC I agree with W&W if you can get it to run !

Don't know of any any good RPG's where you can create a party anymore, but solo Go for 'The Witcher' its good. Needs a fairly high end comp though.

In the Icewind Dale series you create the whole party.
