It was awful weather today. At about 4:15, however, everything tok a turn for good: IT RAINED! Not only that, it was a storm, with lightning and everything! After awful heat all weeks, this was major relif! Thankyou Cloudy!!

Our rain hasn't cooled things off, it's just raised the humidity level.

About 2 months ago in NC they called an end to the official drought that had lasted nearly 4 1/2 years. They were able to do that because the last six months the rainfall levels have been far above average. In fact, some areas in central NC have received the most rainfall in recorded weather history over the past month. Six months ago ours crops were dying due to a lack of rain and numerous communities were under mandatory water conservation measures, but now we have damns bursting (4 in the past two weeks within 75 miles of my home) throughout the region.

It seems it's feast or famine these days. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
