UK fans to get OOTP a day early

Good news for all you chaps in the United Kingdom: Warner Brothers has confirmed that Order of the Phoenix will be released on July 12th, 2007. That is one day earlier than originally scheduled, and US fans still have to wait until the 13th to see it in theaters.

We're still waiting for information concerning why this change was made in the first place, but we'll keep you updated!

Another new trailer. Seems a bit longer than the last couple.

The trailer looks good. However I already have a qualm regarding the movie: Umbridge wasn't nearly as old, obese and hideous as he was portrayed in the Book, so I can't imagine her being as lovingly hateful as she was there. Seeing as how it's my favourite part of the series so far, I predict that I'll have considerably more qualms once I actually see the movie.

Okay, I admit, I'm a purist through and through.

Yeah, I'm the same way really. If you're going to make a movie about a book, TRY to make it follow along the same storyline...
I've already read that this movie cuts out a bunch of information that was in the book.
Seems to be happening more and more often with these movies.
