wow Gangrell it is rare to see a golden earing selection other than radar love or candy going bad!

Another song on high rotation this week for me is by the 'inspiral carpets' the Gallagher brothers used to roadie for them before oasis.

Don't be fooled, the last two are old...ish

Good songs though! Nightwish is a fav of mine, though I have no idea what happened to them once their lead singer got kicked out.

Heh, Twilight Zone's the best they ever made in my opinion. You know something wellard? This conversation sounds a bit familiar...

Been listening quite a lot to Wolverine's "Window Purpose" album recently. Got some very good tracks on it.

Oh and here's a Grojlach-like reply: http://www.last.fm/user/patham Find out all the secrets about dplax's life!

(as long as those secrets are music-related )

Me neither. Are those mostly local or continental groups?

Let's see, just the all-time top 15.

Opeth are Swedish.
Lacuna Coil are Italian.
Dream Theater are American.
Therion are Swedish.
Pain of Salvation are Swedish.
Threshold are English.
Evergrey are Swedish.
Epica are Dutch.
Enchant are American.
Kamelot are American.
Nightwish are Finnish.
Symphony X are American.
Sonata Arctica are Finnish.
In Flames are Swedish.
Crematory are German.

Basically they come from all over the place. The reason you don't know them most probably has something to do with the style of music (metal) and not the geographical locations. And what can I say...Scandinavian groups do make good music.
