I love the idea of those pocket doors. If I was every going to build a house again I would put a few of those doors in the spaces that do not have a lot of room for swing doors.

I just want them to fit, and care not for what type they are. 46". Who customizes doors to be that size, and costs under $65.00/ea. ?

LoA would be youre man Larry, he is a contractor/ Carpenter if I remember. If my dad was still kickin I could get ya hooked up, but alas :/

Doors are a pain, I need 12 of them for my house as well, 3 outside the rest inside. Hollow doors that are 36 years old and have been slammed countless times do not hold up well.
