I felt so moved by this email, even though it is short, I wanted to share it with you, and maybe you could all give this post a reply, and let them know we feel for them. I would be shocked and devastated if this happened as well.

Once I get a bunch of replies, I'll send them to her, and hope it makes her feel a bit better, or know we understand.

Here is the Email:
--------------------------------------

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for sharing the Charly
and Chocolate storie. My 15-year-old cat just got
hit by a car, had much trauma to his head - as a
result he his currently blind and I am devastated. He
was paralyzed at first, but somehow has regained use
of three of his four legs (much to the surprise of the
vet)in the past 3 weeks. Anyway, how chocolate
learned to get around your house was so encouraging -
I hope that maybe, just maybe my sweet cat, Malousse
will come around.

All the best,
Paria

Very sad story. But if Choc can do it, so can Malousse. There's always hope.

That's right - never give up hope! I had a dog that was hit by a car once - the vet said he'd never walk again, but he ended up not just walking, but running as well!

My kitty was hit by a car at 6 months old. Vet said the same, but now, at 3, she's running jumping and happy. She's got a broken tail, but that just makes her unique (somewhat)

Wishing Malousse all the recovery she can manage! Cats can do some amazing things sometimes, so don't lose hope!

My Shepherd mix, Eroica, got hit by a car at age 1, and is now 14, just has a chipped tooth to show. Good luck, Malousse.

We know you are giving Malousse a lot of tender loving care and encouragement. You never know what pets can do when they are surrounded by owners who love them and care for them. I don't have a pet now, but I have had ones in the past. They are like members of your family and you hurt when they hurt. *hugs* Wishing you and Malousse all the best and a good recovery. It sounds like Malousse has already beaten the odds. Take care.
