Right, in the editor you have four boxes one for inventory, one for ground one for description picture and one for destroyed.
Actually I have more than one question and here they are: 1. What value do you put in the destroyed box if you design a magical item and what value goes in if it isn't. 2. How do the other three boxes work? 3. Can you design your own pictures to use for your own weapons in the editor or do you have to use the one's already in. and finally.. 4. I tried to design a buckler+2 and it wouldn't work it has something to do with Q3. I set those values to a buckler and a buckler+1 but it ended up not using my bucklers stats and using the original ones. Why?? Thankyou for your cooperation and I will probably undoubtedly be annoying everyone with another 101 questions some other day! |

Start slowly, use another item that is physically similar and already in game for the "back-bone". Be careful when tempering with the item graphics code, it can lock the item in the invenory (ie. you CANNOT remove it) or cause the game to crash.
For your shield, make sure you not only trigger the "enchant to hit" box, but add the ability in the "equipping effect". And *BUMP*. |
