With a mage or cleric I mean. This feat is *too* powerful. I've been to lots of mods lately, and dm's seem to enjoy giving every little thing improved evasion. Gee if you save *and you probably will* you avoid all damage, and if you fail you still take half. Anyway to inrease the DC for spells?

It's mostly only rogues that have improved evasion. Spell focus will increase the dc of spells for a particular school. Dc's are based off your spell casting stat so increasing that will increase the dc too. Evasion only works against spells that allow a reflex save for half damage, so while fireball is out, flame strike will still do divine damage, ice storm has no save, and anything needing fotitude saves works well, so hit them with disintegrate, finger of death, wail of the banshee, implosion etc. Of course evasion also has no effect against a nice big sword/axe/mace/claw etc.

Not only rogues. I forgot the name of one leather armor, but it has the bonus feat "Improved Evasion" as well. As a melee person, I like that feat. Without it, it's way too easy for ranger chars, like spellcasters, to do damage over the distance while the poor melee sod has to run to the spellcaster to whack it. With it, the life aint so easy for the spellcaster. Which is OK for me
