Virus Warning - Snow White

Howdy!

I posted a similar thing on the game board. The old board had a warning about a "worm virus" with "Snow White and the 7 Dwarves" in the subject field (or variations thereof). I got it yesterday. The sender was "HaHaHa."

Thanks to Ziroc's warning I believe I avoided disater. Many thanks.

By the way, seeing that Memnoch is now shown as a moderator, I cannot help but wonder if he, Memnoch that is, has succumbed to the wiles of my cat and is now an active participant in her plot to take over the world... quite a coup for my little hairball if my fears are real... LOL

Very seriously, if you receive any mail

- from somebody you don't know
- and/or with a title suggesting sex or money or jokes
- with an attached file

then DON'T open the attached file and throw immediately the mail away.
Most of these mails hold viruses.

My sig is the Fountain of Neptune (is that the English name ? The Romain God of the Sea) of the Stanislas Square in Nancy, the town where I was born and spent my childhood. From time to time, I get homesick, so that is why I chose it.

Oh, by the way, I don't know if you read my post in the appropriate thread, but just came home from a concert of Mongolian instrumental and throat singing here in Grenoble - man, this music is amazing ! I didn't know that a human voice could produce such sounds ! It goes from the foghorn to the singing of the hummingbird ! And the playing with the harmonics ! Extraordinaire ! And such power of evocation ! I will stop here, I am just speechless. Thank you, thank you for sharing this wonder. I read your thread Monday morning, and then I had the immense luck to discover the same day that a group of four Mongolian throat singers would came here for an unique concert the next Thursday. Such a coincidence ...
