Indeed they would. If something is on the cats back, it will not affect their sense of balance, which is what they use to flip over. Now if the bread were over the cats EARS...

Has anyone ever noticed that the butterd-bread-hitting-the-ground-facedown rule doesnt apply to toast? also has anone ever put tape onto a cats paws and then put it onto lino or tiles?
