How Do I Get This Right (installation questions)

I buy both IWD and HoW. Should I install both and only patch with the HoW once HoW is completely installed? Or should I just load IWD, patch it and then later install HoW and patch that? I don't feel like messing up my game. What are the advantages of installing both? Disadvantages? Thanks ahead of time (this is a great board).

Definately install both and then patch How, or just download Trials of the Luremaster and put that one since it should have the patch in with it, plus the new levels and stuff. HoW adds some interesting things to the normal IWD game that come in handy, plus there are a few minor changes to some of the encounters also.

Unless you have a fast connection like a DSL or Cable modem I would find a friend who can burn the Trials of the Luremaster onto CD for you. It's a 73meg download. Otherwise the HoW 1.41 patch has the previous patches in it.
