Dang! You guys are getting farther than I am! I need to sit down and catch-up now.

I hope that Ziroc decides to create a forum for us. I am also glad you guys are enjoying the game...

I'm not sure what post you are referring to...I said "farther than I am" which is exactly what I meant to say. I started playing this game and then posted this thread here in the hopes to let others know about it. Now, others are far ahead of me in the game so I have to stop reading so as not to spoil the game for myself.

My hope (as I stated in the post above) is that everyone I recommended the game to in this thread was enjoying it...else they would be upset about spending $40 on a game they didn't like and thus be upset at me for recommending it in the first place. Clear now?

I tried the demo first, Tige, and I was hooked. Since spending the extra bucks on the real software, I now know that my computer won't blow up, and that I get to have a lot more fun with it.

Thanks for letting us know! And for reference, I believe that Ziroc will be opening a DD forum after the conversion takes place. I've gone back and forth between wanting a forum here and using Larian's DD forum, but the attitude I keep seeing over there makes me glad that our folks here are so positive and uplifting.

I read through a thread that seemed to address something I was looking for, and it segued into a dialogue between two members. Someone else jumped in and harped at them for going off-topic. And while I think there's some validity to wanting to keep things on-topic, there are polite ways to get back there, and rude ways. The Larian forum seems to thrive on the rude stuff.

Anyway, thanks for bringing up the game, again. Now, if I can get to bed before 2AM, I'll be much happier...

FYI...

G'Winelle finished off the "Demon of Lies" ...at about 9 am Sunday morning. She finished out at lvl 50 warrior..Rep...47. (Thats my best guess anyway....you can't get back in...to look at stats, after the end game.)

I only had 2 busted quests, when I left the Rivellon map. Both involved 'Tingalf'. (I got him arrested, before I should have)

If anyone needs/wants tips on getting the Larian/silver armor (easter egg) let me know. The larian board has it all chopped and scattered.
I lost about 5 hrs. trying to get it right...of course that includes multiple rolls. (and the best set...was the first shot)

Armor of Larian (Silver armor...after the easter egg)
Durabilty: 26
Weight 200
Charm Quality: 2
Armor 410
+8 Strenght
+6 Agility
+60 Vitality
+80 Magic

Resistances
+10 fire
+10 poison
+20 spirit

+1 Hearing?

Dang, I'm jealous! Too much stuff going on lately, and I haven't been able to game that much. I just entered Verdistris (sp?) after completing most of the original map (Rivellon?).

Studley Dinsmore is around level 29 as a warrior. Level 5 sword, but I've got to boost his agility so he hits more often. His skill with the sword is legendary, but he's as likely to hit a table leg as he is to hit his target it seems...

Hopefully I'll be able to get into the game come midweek. I can't wait until Ziroc gets the DD board up...
