Hyper Walls
I've just uploaded my first pack of converted walls. There are 42 walls by Kaltusara converted from default to hyper wall format.
http://dungeoncraft.skybakcone.com/640/kaltusara.7z The file is compressed with 7-Zip, available for free at http://www.7-zip.org/ Check it out, there are some nice walls here. |

Re: Hyper Walls
I managed to change 200 walls (and overlays, of course) during the last days, I guess I will find time to update my Homepage next weekend, so stay tuned...

Re: Hyper Walls
Are you cutting and pasting each by hand? If so, then my hats off to you for determination.
I look forward to seeing these walls, and so does the town of Prohovost. |

Re: Hyper Walls
Well, I did most of the "wall changing" between 9 pm and 1 am, with non-alcoholic beer and listening to some radio plays (I hope that's the right word in English), thus it was endurable...
21 walls/overlays to be done, now! My forefinger hurts a little, though...

Re: Hyper Walls
That sounds like how I prefer to work. I get a nice tall glass of flavored water (sugar-free of course ) and put on an audiobook and get-to-town. I need to listen to more radio plays, but American radio doesn't carry any, at least not where I live, and the only one I have a recording of is the BBC version of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings - which I love dearly, but you can only listen to it every so often.
I've done Telwyn and Uatu's walls. There were only a few so no long sessions, but Harri has more than a hundred walls about 50 of which I will have to do by hand and Ziroc also has about 60 walls - 25% to do by hand. I hope to have it all done and posted by Wednesday. |

Re: Hyper Walls
Ooh, you did my walls already? (A few of them I don't really like, but, ah, well)

Re: Hyper Walls
I did all the walls that were in default format already. Now, I'm working on the ones in tall wall format.
That is I will work on them whenever I turn that computer on again - might be a couple of days. We're having record heat, and I'm having a hard time keeping the temp down on my desktop, so I'm just watching movies and using the desktop during time that I would be using the desktop. |

Re: Hyper Walls
In my old apartment, my PC was in the kitchen... which had no air conditioner and was on the 5th (top) floor. Basically, in the summer I had to work on my PC while sitting in a sauna... In the winter, at least I could cover myself in a blanket, but in the summer I just used my PC until I couldn't stand it anymore, when I would retreat to the (air-conditioned) bedroom and amuse myself with my DS-lite...

Re: Hyper Walls
I don't know if it's fortunate or unfortunate that I can outlast my desktop... Actually, my desktop has a pretty good fan system, it's my external drive (the 1 TB beast) that get's really hot.
My laptop gets really hot too, but I use the "icy-blue" freezer packs underneath to keep it running nice and cool...hmm, I guess I could do that for my external drive too. D'oh! Our low temp last night was 80 degrees farenheit, and at 7:30 it's already back up to 85...on our way to 106 (102 yesterday, 108 tomorrow). Oregon is not supposed to be warmer than San Diego - my nephew is down there and they're having temps in the high 70s. |

Re: Hyper Walls
Uhh... freezer packs? As in, those things you put in iceboxes?
Wow, things are getting quite hot for you it seems - I am just happy that I am now able to use my computer in an air-conditioned room (table-less still, but, oh well)...
