Good stuff, Rik. As soon as I figure out how to zip my 18mb Monster Manual file down to 4mb, I'll email it to you.

I don't know about that. I believe Tolkein used them both when talking about a
short little people with hairy feet who liked to eat 6 meals a day. Could be
talking about me, but I'm not little. Six meals a day does sound good though!
Especially if beer is involved!!! Just finished my third!

So what does this clan do that the others don't do?

Orcs are "monsters"
but not "mythical" monsters
thus they are not on the list but in the realm
Just like
Gibbelings
Kabolds
Wolves
Snakes
Serpents (they are mythical monsters i just forgot to put them in)
and more...

A bit of history.

TSR was forced to chage all references of "hobbit" to something else. Tolkien's estate was getting ready to sue. They chose "halfling" and the rest is history.

They are the same beings...

So, how does one get in with the Realm ???
