Nope. Afraid to say as long as they're on your person Malchor Harpell will never leave you alone. There are better weapons out there than Drizzt's scimitars, believe me.

I know there are better weapons, but its the only +5 scimitar in the game.

Dreamer, you can edit your own posts, there's an edit/delete button just above the box where your post is, it's the second one from the right. See it? You can do this to your own posts anytime - there's no time limit AFAIK.

he will only come to you in certain places at certain time, like if you are in Athkatla, he will always on your tail, but if you are in for example (it is only example) underdark, he will not appear.

the problem is how to advance to hell. IF this mage dude only appears after you rest, then it is not much a big deal, just go to chapter 7 without rest. if he appears when ever you load an area, then you screwed. just use CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("destiny")

Well, you can use it, just be prepared to never rest or save the game again.
