After Killing Mudusa Naga Opening Doors

I found the switch on the Sun Dial and went down the passage to the chamber with two chests in it. Found a second switch on the fountain and flipped it. Something happened, went back to the second door and still will no open. Tried several times with no luck.

How do you open the Second Door?

The second switch should have opened up a previously blocked hallway in the opposite direction (of the switch).
For now, just follow the other passage and try to find the Serpent Master for a key you will need to get into the room that has a grate for a door if that is the door you are talking about.
Be nice to him and answer his questions appropriately ("yes" & "none") since you also need the same key to access the area where you will meet Elyssia and fight for your life and the Masque of Death.

Thanks Moni, I went back to the game after posting the message and found that the deadend wasn't a deadend anymore. Now I'm working on the elevator puzzle. I haven't been able to get passed the seventh one yet. I was able to beat one serpant wizard to get the key and looted the caged room.

Way to go nightauditor!
I have no clues to help you with the elevator puzzles LOL!
Both times I played through here, I relied on memory (have I been here before?) and checking the map repeatedly.
I know you will make it through!
Look forward to one of THE BEST FIGHTS in the game!
