Does anybody know from where did Santa get his red-coloured clothes? No? From COCA-COLA advertisment for Christmas. And that is I think (((((sick)))))!

I actually never belived in this things, some kind of ritual or church thing in order to make money or what?

But getting its look from damn advertisments!!!

I hope no offence taken from all those who love coke or from americans.

HEh...

From a google:
"Santa's red and white robes predate the turn of the century and actually date back to the historical personage St. Nicholas who was the basis for Santa Claus. The red and white robes were the colors of the robes of bishops of the Roman Catholic church". Not sure where you get the Coke thing...

Coke used him yes, made him fatter and used red etc, but I'm sure there are other images of Santa pre dating coke cola with him wearing red. I guess you could say his modern image can be attributed to coke. It's just an evolution thing and the coke/Santa thing has long since been forgotten ...... or remembered as a matter of no consequence.

1908, pre-dating Coke Cola by some 20 years.
