Can anyone be nice enough to right out all the new modifications ToB has made to BG2...please. Like new Cleric and Mage spells.....
This will be sad and tedious but darn helpful for those who have to wait another 10 days for it.
I can read this and plan my party composition to safe time!
THANKS A MILLION

keep bumping this because I think for non-US and non-miracle workers, this will be rather helpful!
So when we go into ToB we went be going: "oh I wish I used that spell instead" and " oh damn I thought it did something else".

I know what you mean. Like how Gate spell sounded so good and you think it will summon some horrorible beast but he is killed quite easily by a few hits. Even Balors are harder to kill.

There are about 5 or 6 different monster all called Balors!
They vary intensely in abilities with the Pit Fiend being the most powerful.
Although I have to say Imoen casted time stop in the final battle and killed
ALL 4 Balors by her self! WHOOOOHHOOO

What the hell are you talking about? I mean to say that in the game the balors you face (sferniblin town, front of elven palace) they are tougher to beat that summoned pit fiends. I take pitties down with four of five slashes which hit almost every time and they have crap resistance. Balors can cast wicked spells and are hard to hit with resistance to spells and weapons.

Black Assassin:
What i mean is that Pit Fiends are SUPPOSED to be the hardest.
They are Tann'ari (sp?) commanders!
That's why it's a 9th level Mage spell and 7th level Cleric spell.
Balors aren't that tough.
They don't have a lot of spells where as a Pit Fiend has good resistance and lots of Hold and Fear spells.
The Pit Fiend I summoned took on the entire Rakshassa Party guarding the Temple in Suldnessalar!...err okay I did help with Incendiary cloud and Horrid Wilting
But remember the demons all vary tremendously in the game. Max Exp doesn't equal most diificult, quest experience also come in a lot!

still they arn't that much of an improvement over the glabrezu (summon feind) they just look cool. I mean in the spell description it says that this spell is only used by suicidal mages. My 17th level mage could take one out by itself and it cant even cast the bloody spell! I'm just saying that its way overrated.

It is still a good Monster.
Anything singled can be beaten. How about taking on 6 pit Fiends?

Yeah, try the end battle with irenicus. I have played and finished the game 3 times and every time i never lost more than 20 hitpoints on a single units in that battle. Thats how easy demons are. I know in the monster manuals and such, that they say pit piends are most powerful and such but in the game its a bit different. Anyway maybe i'm just to good for them. Normally by then ive hit the xp cap so im pretty tough.
