I've often wondered how the people who lived in East Berlin or the family and friends of someone who died trying to escape over the Wall feel about this... but it's not nearly as extreme as THIS. I mean, only DAYS after the WTC was destroyed! And saying it to a guy who survived that! I must say, the guy deserved to be punched.

Yes and at least the wall came down FOR people, not to take their lives.

Hey all! I thought I'd give a litte bit of an update on the Ebay story. Yes, there were many, many items for sale on Ebay relating to the WTC. Pieces of it, pictures, postcards, etc.

However, and I give complete respect to them for this, Ebay went through and pulled as many auctions as they could find from their database. I had heard the same story, and have checked a few times out there to see if there were any left (to see just how sick some people really are), and I haven't been able to find much.

Credit to Ebay for not allowing this disrespect to happen!!!

Well, I'll say I'm not surprised it's happened, but it is disgusting to try and make a buck on the tragedy. And if Zeeke is right, I'm really glad to hear Ebay is showing a bit of good conscience and not selling the stuff.
