Is there anyway to have a thief/wildmage
or fighter/wildmage? I love using the wildmage, but I wanna group them with either a thief or a fighter/kensai... Can you do this with shadowkeeper?--> is there a new one for the xpack OR could I just get Kensai/mage and momorize the wildmage spells, like shield of chaos or improved... what is the CLUACONSOLE number for these? Please NEED TO KNOW SOON IF POSSIBLE? Why can't maGES/WILDMAGES DUAL? |

You can use SK to make yourself a wild mage but all this does is change your class description. You will then need to use Shadowkeeper to give you the wildmage spells (Nahal's Reckless Dweomer, Sphere of Chaos etc). There may be other attributes that you will need to assign manually. You won't get Wild Magic Surge or any of those benefits that wild mages get (until you get ToB).

It's the new character class available in ToB. Everytime a wild mage casts a spell, there's a chance that a Wild Magic Surge takes place, which means that a random effect (may be good or bad) may happen. There are 100 random events that can happen. Think of it as the Wand of Wonder magnified tenfold.

There are also wild magic areas in ToB that provide the same effect. Trust me - some really strange things have happened. I was fighting some baatezu in ToB and after a long, hard battle, only a pit fiend was left. He was on the verge of death, then I cast Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting expecting to finish him off...and found that I'd actually healed him!
