With all due respect, you can't just ignore one million lost jobs because the administration couldn't have stopped it...those people are still unemployed!

Whilst it does indeed absolve the government from blame about the reasons for this unemployment, to state that unemployment has gone down is simply factually incorrect.

EDIT: The book works for me

Please tell me how 9/11 equates to multi-millions of jobs lost? I realize a not negligible amount of jobs were lost in the local area and that the airlines were affected, but I find it hard to believe that it could have such a far reaching effect on our economy. Don't tell me that all the US population just locked themselves in their homes for three years. I know I didn't.

I haven't seen any of those numbers (which I really can't convince myself are good) take into account population gain. There are a lot more eligible American workers today than there were in 2000.

And Klorox, that woman is so good at talking to liberals that she had pies thrown at her at a public speech by some

Hey, it might help.
I think I'd rather look at her than read her book..

Yeah, let's look to some bitch who wrote "Treason" and "Slander" to tell us how to reasonably think about the world. I'd want nothing to do with her, except that she pisses me off so much that I'd like to make her my love slave and make her clean my hardwood floors with her tongue in order to earn my favor.

I tried to read one of her books, once, but the bile dripping from it burned my hands.

It's called the 9/11 excuse. We are expected to excuse fiscal irresponsibility in the form of record deficit, we are expected to excuse record job-loss, we are expected to excuse invading a Country with no ties to the 9/11 attacks and little ties to the organization behind the attacks.

Its an excuse- a big ole cop out. To be expected really when concepts like taking responsibility and admiting errors are not options of the Bush administration or many of thier advocates.

That was kind of my take on it too.
