I have been thinking of dropping Khalid and adding Coran to my
party when I enter Cloakwood. I've used Khalid mostly with bow. Also I don't have a thief in the party because I dueled Iomen to Mage and haven't leveled her up yet. Any suggestions on this? Thanks |

I'd agree. Coran is quite good with a bow, and a fine thief. His bits of dialog are amusing enough that I rather wish they'd added him to BG2. (Well, in a sense they did--but just a brief bit role in the ToB add-on, and he's killed almost at once.)

Yes, replace Khalid with Coran. Coran is the best archer in the game.

Well I'm in the same position like ted except I never found Coran!!!!
I've also never found Shar-teel, Skye, Eldoth, Kagain and alora... I've had this game (and Totsc) for a year.....and i've only reached durlag's fifth level underground..... Time what a luxury!! |

I have Khalid with Sword+2 and that is fine since he has 4 stars in it.

Actually, that is a good point about Khalid. Especially when wearing gauntlets of dexterity and with the Strength spell cast upon him, those four stars in large sword he can eventually earn make him a true badass.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try to find Coran and see how it works.
I'm going to try to leave Khalid in some nice house in Beregost in case I need to use him again. |

Coran is a very good sneak theif and he has 19 Dex so he is quite a good archer as well. Then you can save the gauntlets of Dex for someone who really needs them. Definately go with Coran.
