I have a few games going, mainly because I want to try out most of the romances. Anyhow, I've seen my husband play through the game with the Aerie romance, so I wasn't trying to pursue that one. So, in the game in which I'm trying to pursue Jaheira, I happen to also have Aerie in my party. And she's already agreed to become Minsc's witch.

So I have both romances coming at me. I'm playing a Paladin, so naturally I'm being nice to Aerie even though I want him to pursue Jaheira. I am wondering where I can find the balance here, to turn Aerie off without being ridiculously out of character, or upsetting her so she leaves the party. So far I've managed to do nothing but encourage her, because I just can't imagine a Paladin being cruel to her.

Allow things to continue and things will come to a head, and youll be asked to choose between them. You can keep them both in your party though.

As Andrewas said, things will work out for you, but you will be forced to quick and brutally turn Aerie down. If you want, you can use the in-game editor to make Aerie stop coming on to you by herself, but that would be to edit the game, which someone prefers to steer clear of. But if you want to know how, tell me.

Thanks. I'll try to do it without "cheating." At least, not beyond reloading a previously saved game if I screw up.
